Occupational Therapist

I received my Bachelor of Science degree at Texas Christian University after which I pursued my Masters of Occupational Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  I am a licensed and practicing Occupational Therapist in Prairie Village, Kansas. {Kansas City}.  I have treated patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injury, prematurity and many other medical diagnosis. My skills range from working in the Neonatal ICU to the Surgical, Neurological  and Cardiac Intensive Care Units to general physical disabilities in the Inpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Care and Skilled Nursing settings . I was a Pharmaceutical Representative for a large pharmaceutical company selling pharmaceuticals to Gastrointestinal Specialty and Internal Medicine physicians, before staying home with my three boys.  Not one to sit still long, I started my own successful stationery business and operated that full-time for 7 years from The Woodlands, TX.  When my three boys were in school, I returned to practicing Occupational Therapy and maintaining my small business from home.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when I was 23 years old, 5 years after my symptoms began. I had emergency surgery to reconstruct my stomach secondary to inflammation...3 times. For the 18 years between my first and last surgery to remove my stomach, I fought for my health on a daily basis, all the while getting married, raising a family and working.  I am not the same person I was when this all began.  I have endured and survived an interesting time in medical history beginning with the return of "Original Medicine" of plant based therapies while Modern Medicine contributed to the decline and redemption of my life.  I am an avid researcher, lover of science and "the way things work" and more than anything, love to share what I have learned along this journey.  To save just one person the incredible amount of heartache and pain my family and I have endured would be considered a great joy and honor.

A friend introduced me to hemp-based CBD and it changed my life.  I was already pursuing natural healing remedies and within 24 hours, I noticed a change in my body.  I was so impressed that I began to share my testimony with my friends.  Sharing became selling and selling became researching and studying a plant I never dreamed I would understand.  To sell CBD is a privilege to not only understand God's creation as it was intended to use, but to be on the receiving end of so many amazing stories of relief from my family, friends and customers.
